General

By using Zaytes website, you accept our conditions of use, shipping, return policy and privacy notice and does not affect your statutory rights. If any of our conditions of use is held by any court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or part, this will not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of use which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These conditions of use will be governed by English Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any dispute which may arise between them.

We reserve the right to revise our conditions of use without notice to you. You may not access or use the website should you not want to be bound by these conditions of use. The conditions of use may be modified at any time, and any such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modification. By your access and use of the Zaytes web site you agree to frequently review the conditions of use and shall be conclusively bound by any such future modifications.

Customers Delivery

Your order is an offer to buy from us. Nothing that we do or state will amount to any acceptance of that offer until we actually dispatch the goods to you. A contract will be made between you and us the moment the goods are dispatched (and not before), and you have been charged for the goods.

We stock almost all Nigerian Foods and will ship the following food items direct to your home, restaurant and shops without delay: fresh pepper, vegetables, frozen chicken, fish, goat and beef meat, white and brown beans, plantain, poundo yam, okra, plantain, oil, yam and other perishable and no-perishable products. We are able to provide our customers with same day delivery and also deliveries within 2 working days depending on your choice of delivery option.  Charges apply.

Customers must be there and available to sign and receive their orders when it arrives. There are NO REFUNDS for perishable food items when you miss the delivery to the designated address. You must arrange to collect the food items immediately from our business premises immediately. We have no storage for perishable foods and will dispose it if unclaimed.  We deliver foods within UK main land and would normally deliver directly to the main entrance of the delivery address specified when you place an order. We advise all customers to collect food packages at the main entrance such as ground floor communal entrance, entrance to particular floor in an apartment block and ground floor reception area.

We do not provide deliveries to Tower blocks. Customers living in Tower blocks must collect orders from ground floor communal entrance. We will endeavour to deliver packages of food items to all customers within an agreed time and date when orders are placed. All packages of food items must be signed for on delivery by any adult aged 18 years or over.

Our deliveries go out Monday-Friday with time restrictions.

[a] Same day delivery – orders must be placed between 9-12pm on a daily basis.

[b] Standard Next Day: orders must be placed between 9-2pm for delivery next day.

Orders are processed immediately as they are placed by customers and ready for dispatch on the same day or next working day. Late orders after 2pm will be accepted and processed on the next working day and dispatched same day for delivery. There are no deliveries on weekend.

Delivery charge applies to all orders placed by customers online or phone. Please call Zaytes Customer Services on 02083114491 for more details. When a specific delivery to a customer is delayed due to logistics issues and circumstances beyond our control, we will call immediately to update you.

Refunds and Return Policy

We take considerable measures to ensure our foods are in good conditions before they get to all customers. However, if you are unsatisfied with our services, please read our returns and refunds policy below on how to obtain a replacement or refund. Our returns and refund policy does not affect your legal rights.

We will endeavour by all means to ship good quality fresh foods to all our customers. Customers are advised to check all perishable and non-perishable foods when they are delivered. If they are unsatisfactory for consumption, you must contact us immediately to enable us agree and confirm return faulty foods. The food items must be in its original packaging not tampered with and must be returned within 24hrs of delivery.

We will accept returns of non-perishable foods that you no longer want provided it has not been tampered with. Zates will charge fees for re-stocking food items. We do not accept returns on fresh frozen, perishable food items and will not refund delivery costs for food items to customer’s homes. Customers will incur the cost. Your statutory rights are not affected in any way when you return packages of food items.

We have outlined simple ways on how customers may return packages of food items. You may also call the office if you change your mind on a specific food item you have purchased before it is dispatched. We will cancel the order immediately. Please get in touch if you have any complaints on packages of food items you have purchased online and we will do our best to help as well as require customer’s proof of foods purchase.

Prices and VAT

Please note that the prices on our websites are guides only. The actual product price to be charged may differ at the time your order is processed. The actual order value cannot be determined until the day of delivery because the prices stated on the website may vary either above or below the prices in store on the day your order is processed. If you consider the disparity in price charged and the guide price on our website unacceptable, you may return the item when you visit our store to collect your order.

Customers may cancel or change any current orders at any time within our time restrictions between Monday-Friday but not when the order[s] have been dispatched. You may call our Customer Services Team on +44 20831 14491 to make changes to your order. Please note that orders cannot be cancelled by email.

Payment

We accept the following online payment methods: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Debit and other debit cards. Each credit/debit card details are encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Customers must authenticate payment at the time of placing an order.

Customers must ensure that their credit card is valid when we take payments before the despatch date of each order. Payments are taken before foods are despatched. We will not despatch any placed order if the payment card has expired.
